“The best training doesn’t come from trends—it comes from knowledge, experience, and a deep respect for how dogs learn.
After gaining extensive professional education and certifications in canine behavior and training, Seeking Liberty was created to offer thoughtful, personalized training rooted in respect for both ends of the leash.”

Education & Professional Background:
My professional education with dogs began in 2021 at the Academy of Pet Careers, where I completed their basic grooming program at the Petropolis Pet Resort training facility. Working in a large, state-of-the-art environment that manages a high volume of dogs every day gave me an early understanding of professional standards for safety, structure, and the logistics of handling many dogs responsibly. That experience set a very high bar for how I believe dogs should be managed and cared for in professional environments.
During that time I became increasingly interested in dog training and canine behavior. Because of the respect I had for the quality of education in their grooming program, I initially enrolled in the training program through the Academy of Pet Careers as well. However, as I progressed deeper into training—particularly while working with my own working-line German Shepherd—I began to realize that I wanted a more comprehensive and balanced understanding of canine behavior and training methodology.
That search for deeper, more practical education led me to continue my studies at the Kennelwood Academy for Professional Dog Training, where I completed their professional training program. The program provided extensive hands-on instruction in canine learning theory, behavior, obedience training, and real-world problem solving with a wide variety of dogs.
In addition to my formal education, I maintain certifications in pet CPR and first aid and have continued developing my skills through hands-on work with dogs and their handlers. My experience also includes specialized work in service dog scent detection training and helping handlers build reliable working partnerships with their dogs.
I remain committed to continually refining my skills, expanding my education, and growing Seeking Liberty to better serve both dogs and the people who love them.
Seeker and Liberty are more than my dog's names. They represent the foundation of how I approach training.
Seeker reflects curiosity, awareness, and the beginning of understanding.
Liberty represents clarity, confidence, and the freedom that comes from true communication.
Every session is designed with that same progression in mind—moving from learning to living.Contact me
